‘FarmMate’ – an App for Farmers by New Holland Agriculture

New Holland Agriculture - a brand of CNH Industrial is launching its first digital application (App) specially developed for the farmers in Asia, the Middle East & Africa (AMEA). The app known as ‘FarmMate’ is designed to support customers of New Holland in their everyday activities with agronomic advice & useful tools. The App is readily available for the IOS as well as Android smartphones and tablets.

The users of FarmMate will get detailed information on New Holland’s equipment and how it can help in their farming operations. It will also give insights on farming practices, news & dedicated services that will enhance their overall after-sales experience with the brand.

The App intends to become farmers’ expert friend, who is always ready with valuable and detailed guidance on how to get the best from their fields & from the crops they are growing. FarmMate will be customised for every market, so that the news, promotions, products & agronomic information given will always be relevant to the user. With FarmMate, the New Holland plans to provide the best interactive user experience and become a true working partner for its consumers.

Navigation of the FarmMate app is easy and intuitive. The main menu gives 4 choices - Agronomy Tips, Products, Distributors and News. It provides useful insights on fruitfully growing the most widespread crops in the user’s region, like corn, potatoes, wheat and rice. Each crop is explained through a sequence of card collections organised according to the field operation i.e. tillage, planting, harvesting etc. Moreover, the suggestions and tips provided are continuously updated by the New Holland team.

The App also provides farmers with helpful tools for their everyday activities, like a currency converter, details of promotions on spare parts & services available at their dealership, weather predictions and news about company products & activities in their country.

FarmMate is the 1st app of its kind that will be offered by New Holland in AMEA markets. It has been launched in Thailand, Myanmar and Australia in local languages in a first step.
