Godrej Agrovet Limited (GAVL) has collaborated with Gramophone to provide crop solutions to Indian farmers. GAVL and Gramophone, both have been working relentlessly to achieve a common goal i.e., improving farm productivity that results into higher yields and ultimately better net income for farmers.

Considering Gramophone’s strong reach and direct connect with farmers, Godrej Agrovet has partnered to push this common initiative to the next level. This association comes as the good news for farmers and it will help them to get direct access to affordable crop intensive technology.

More than 700,000 farmers are already part of Gramophone, an Intelligent Farming Platform that provides agronomic intelligence, delivery of Agri inputs like seeds, crop protection, crop nutrition products, and output marketplace. Gramophone has established itself as a full-stack platform for farmers in which farmers get personalized farm management at the plot level, crop level and weather advisory on a day-to-day basis. Commenting on the partnership, Tauseef Khan, CEO, and Co-Founder of Gramophone, in a statement said, “This association will help us to expand market reach and pave the way for better yields for farmers across the country. During the pandemic, the advent of digital technology adoption became a necessity and farmers are also looking for an end-to-end solution like Gramophone. We will continue to bring innovation in our solutions and provide an all-inclusive seamless experience to farmers in India”.

This collaboration will empower farmers through accessible agronomic intelligence and the right Agri inputs for their farms. Day by day, the cost of cultivation is increasing, the variability of problems is expanding which is pressing farmers’ output net income. With use of data-driven full-stack technology solutions gramophone has been able to help farmers in reducing input cost by 20%-30% and increase their yields by 30% to 40%.

Gramophone is also coming up with an Output marketplace called, Gram Vyapar from which farmers will be benefited furthermore. Now they will also be able to sell their produce to traders across India at better rates, resulting in a further increase in net income.
