HCL to Open a Global Delivery Center in Hartford in Partnership with Stanley Black & Decker

HCL Technologies, a global leader in the world of Information Technology (IT), recently announced that it will open a Global Delivery Centre in Hartford, Connecticut in order to provide digital transformation services to clients dealing in smart manufacturing, insurance, aerospace, defense industries.

With the Global Delivery Centre opened in Hartford, HCL plans to invest in the area with a vision to generate local jobs and build a strong ecosystem at the regional and state levels. To carry out the ambitious project, HCL collaborated with Stanley Black & Decker. The company is a diversified global industrial that operates the world's largest tool company. Stanley Black & Decker has signed a significant global agreement with HCL.  

Commenting on the partnership with Stanley Black & Decker, Ajay Bahl, Executive Vice President for MEGALT Verticals in the US for HCL Technologies, says, "We are excited to begin this partnership with Stanley Black & Decker. This delivery center will be a testament to our collective vision for digital and transformative technologies for smart manufacturing."

With this collaboration, HCL will be working towards bringing advanced digital transformation in Stanley Black & Decker's global application and infrastructure environments in line with improving the company's business. "Partnership with HCL is an important component of our strategy to digitally transform our organization and drive resiliency and efficiency across the business,” says Don Allan, EVP and Chief Financial Officer at Stanley Black & Decker.
