Lucky Farmers Win Tractor & Much More in  AgroStar’s Cotton Bumper Dhamaka Contest

AgroStar hosted its second consecutive Cotton Bumper Dhamaka Contest at the Municipal Corporation Hall in Botad, Gujarat to reward their lucky cotton farmers. The event was organized to encourage and motivate cotton farmers who had purchased cotton seeds from the company last year.  

AgroStar, a leading company that uses farm and farmer-specific data to deliver real-time agronomy solutions through technology, has been helping farmers to reduce crop production costs and improve their yield. Like last year, this year too, many lucky farmers won prizes like mobile phones, bikes and battery pumps. The luckiest farmer who won the tractor was RameshbhaiDadhaniya, Village - Gomta - Taluka - Gondal , Dist -Rajkot.  

The entire contest was conducted through a systematic and transparent lucky draw contest that was held in the presence of about a thousand farmers from in and around Botad. The Chief Guest for the event was Dr. T.L. Dholariya, Chairman of  Solar Agrotech Private Limited and Dr. T.M. Bharpoda, Retd. Professor of  Department of Entomology, AAU.   

Speaking about AgroStar, Shri Hasmukh Dave, Director at AgroStar stated that, “Our main objective at AgroStar is  to guide farmers with scientific farming practices and through our agronomy solutions that are backed by technology, help farmers to increase their crop production and reduce their cost. With changes in soil condition, water availability and changes in farming practices, farmers have to move away from traditional farming practices to progressive farming.”
