Agriculture Ministry Announces Farm Superintendent Positions at Farm Machinery Training and Testing Institute on Deputation Basis

The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare is inviting applications for two posts of Farm Superintendent (General Central Service, Group B' Gazetted, Non-Ministerial). These positions are available at the Northern Region Farm Machinery Training and Testing Institute in Hisar, Haryana, and the Southern Region Farm Machinery Training and Testing Institute in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. Position Overview

Qualifications and Experience

• Master's degree in Agronomy from a recognized University or Institute.

• Two years of practical or research experience in agronomic problems within Central Government, State Government, Union Territories, Public Sector Undertakings, Agricultural Universities, Recognized research institutions, Semi-Government, autonomous, or statutory organizations.

• One year of experience in mechanized farming.

Desirable Skill Set

• Officers from various sectors including Central Government, State Government, Union Territories, Public Sector Undertakings, Agricultural Universities, recognized research institutions, semi-Government, autonomous, or statutory organizations are eligible for this role.

• Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or

• Having five years of service in the grade rendered after appointment on a regular basis in Level 6 (Rs. 35400-112400) in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department.

Note: Departmental officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion will not be considered eligible for appointment on deputation. Similarly, individuals on deputation will not be eligible for consideration for appointment through promotion.

Monthly Remuneration

Level 7 (Rs. 44900-142400)

Period of Engagement

The period of deputation (including short-term contract) shall not exceed three years, encompassing any previous deputation periods in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or different organization or Department of the Central Government
