IOCL is going to fill vacant positions in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Metallurgical Engineering. Besides that, few candidates from different disciplines such as Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering etc. would be chosen for engagement as Graduate Apprentice Engineers (GAEs) in accordance with the Apprenticeship Act, 1961.

Salary Details
Candidates selected as Officer/Engineer will be placed in the pay scale of 50000-160000 and will be posted in the pay scale of E2 Level with a starting basic pay of 50000/- per month.
Academic Qualification
- Interested candidate must have completed a B.Tech./BE Full-time Regular course from an Institution/College/University/Deemed University duly recognized by AICTE/UGC in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 65 percent marks (55 percent for SC/ST/PWD).
- The applicants applying for this position should have completed or pursuing M.Tech in any discipline. Candidates who have appeared in the GATE 2022 examination in the eligible discipline and completed B.Tech./BE in one of the mentioned disciplines are also eligible to apply.
Selection Criteria
To be eligible to apply for the advertised positions, candidates must have passed the GATE 2022 examination in one of the following disciplines:

- Civil Engineering (GATE 2022 code: CE)
- Computer Sc & Engineering (GATE 2022 code: CS)

NOTE: GATE scores from previous years (2021 or earlier) will not be accepted.
Selection Process
Group Discussion (GD), Group Task (GT), and Personal Interview (PI) will be used to select candidates.
Age Limit
- Candidates applying from General/EWS category should not be more than 26 years as on 30th June 2022.
- Age relaxation is available in accordance with government guidelines.
