International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics, popularly known as ICRISAT is inviting application from eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Field Technician to support activities of Global Research Program Resilient Farm & Food Systems on Natural Resource Management.

Essential Qualification:
Candidates must have an ITI or Diploma in agriculture or related disciplines. They must also have minimum 1 year experience working with the tribals or challenging locations.
He or she should be open to working with a multidisciplinary team. Also have fluency in oral as well as writing skill in Hindi or Odia. Must be willing to travel to different project sites for undertaking field experiments.
Note - This is a contractual job for a period of twelve months.

Responsibilities of Assistant Field Technician
Support multi-disciplinary project team in doing a range of NRM interventions
Take up crop cutting experiments & sample processing
Experimental field data collection on water, soil, nutrient, agronomy & socio-economic parameters
Soil moisture data collection with gravimetric measurement method
Applicants should be willing to stay at project location especially villages in Tribal areas
