International Crops Research Institute for Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT) is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the position of “Senior Officer- ICRISAT Development Centre” to support activities of the Global Research Program on Resilient Farm and Food Systems. The incumbents will be based in Odisha, India.

Education Qualification:
- Sc. Agriculture with a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent with 15 to 20 years of work experience.
- Essential experiences in on-farm agriculture-related work, like conducting an on-farm demonstration, capacity building, or any other.
- Desirable experience in hand-holding women SHGs/communities.
- Candidates with B.Sc. Agri with an MBA degree will be preferred
Time Period: The position is on a contractual basis for 12 months.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Effective networking abilities with government agencies, non-governmental organisations, and research institutions, protecting the interests of beneficiaries and stakeholders.
- Maintain communication between ICRISAT and various donors, government and non-government organisations, and institutions involved in partnership and fundraising.
- Ongoing interactions with partners and stakeholders, including line departments and academics, to facilitate the implementation of the project's (or projects') outcomes.
- Act as the field team's leader and guide as they establish the creative project interventions across six OLM-ICRISAT project districts.
- Assist the project team administratively in maintaining records, preparing documentation, and submitting to donor organisations.
- On occasion, assist scientists with the creation of technical reports and other related tasks.
- In addition to the aforementioned duties, carry out any additional tasks delegated by the supervisor.
