Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University, Pusa, Samastipur, Bihar-848125 is inviting candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the project entitled “Introgression of QTL (s) for increasing grain Dimethylarsenic acid (DMA) concentration in mega varieties of rice” under DBT funded in the Deptt. of AB&MB, CBS&H, RPCAU, Pusa, purely on a contractual basis. Qualifications and Eligibility

A Master's degree in Agricultural Biotechnology, Molecular Biology & Biotechnology, Biotechnology, Plant Breeding & Genetics, Biochemistry, or any related Life Science field with a minimum of 60% marks (or a 6.0 grade point on a 10-point scale).
The candidate must have cleared CSIR/UGC NET (including for Assistant Professorship) or have passed a national-level examination conducted by central government departments and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, etc., in accordance with DST norms.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in rice genetics, marker-assisted breeding, and gene expression studies.
Candidates with practical experience in both rice fieldwork and laboratory research will be particularly favored.
Age limit of the candidates should be between 21 years to 45 years.

Monthly Remuneration

Rs. 31,000+8% HRA/- month

Selection will be based on the qualification, experience and performance in the interview.
