- Scientist- ‘B’: Rs. 56100- Rs.177500
- Scientific Officer/Engineer – SB: Rs. 44900- Rs.142400
- Scientific/Technical Assistant - ‘A’: Rs. 35400- Rs.112400
NIC Recruitment 2023: Selection Process
Candidates applying for the Scientist "B" and Scientific Officer/Engineer-SB positions will go through a written exam and an interview, while candidates for the Scientific/Technical Assistant - 'A' position will only go through a written exam. The written exam will be conducted online and will consist of 120 multiple-choice questions to be completed in a maximum of 3 hours. The exam will be conducted only in English. The question paper will include 65% technical area questions and 35% generic area questions. The syllabus is attached as Annexure A. Each correct answer will be awarded one mark, while 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
