The National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) has invited applications for the position of assistant law officers. The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2022 will be conducted for selection of candidates for the post. Age Limit Details
- The maximum age limit is 30 years as of the last date for submitting an online application to NTPC.
- For SC/ST candidates, the upper age limit is reduced by 5 years, and for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates, it is reduced by 3 years.
- The upper age limit is reduced by 5 years for candidates who were ordinarily domiciled in the state of Jammu and Kashmir between January 1, 1980 and December 31, 1989.
- Furthermore, the age relaxation for ex-servicemen (XSM) will be in accordance with Government of India guidelines.
Academic Qualification
- To meet the eligibility criteria the interested candidate must have got a Bachelor degree in Laws (LLB or equivalent—full-time degree from a recognized Indian university/institute) with a minimum of 60% (55 percent for SC/ST candidates).
- Students in their final semester of their qualifying course are also eligible to apply. The candidate should be able to provide mark sheets and course completion certificate/provisional degree with a minimum of 60% marks (55 percent for SC/ST candidates) on or before August 31, 2022.
- candidates must take the CLAT-2022 (Common Law Admission Test-2022) for the Post Graduate programme (conducted only by the Consortium of National Law Universities).
- Candidates will be selected for document verification based on their CLAT-2022 Post Graduate programme performance from among those who apply in response to this NTPC advertisement.
- However, if the aspirants meet the advertised eligibility criteria, they will be extended a "Offer of Appointment."
NOTE: Please keep in mind that any other year's or examination's CLAT score will not be considered valid.
Application Fee Details
- Candidates from the General/EWS/OBC categories must pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 300/-.
- SC/ST/PwBD/XSM candidates and female candidates need not to pay the application fee.
