Senior Research Fellow Position (SRF) at ICAR-ATARI, Hyderabad

ICAR- Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute (ATARI), Hyderabad is inviting applications for the recruitment of temporary positions of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) for four different projects. Here are the details: 

Position Overview 

Qualifications  and Eligibility

Project: Cluster Frontline Demonstration on Pulses

• Master's Degree in either Agronomy/Soil Science or Agricultural Extension from a recognized University, supplemented by a Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture from the same. 

• Proficiency in data compilation, analysis, and report writing, alongside adeptness in various computer applications such as worksheets, document editors, and presentation software.

• Familiarity or experience in digital extension, digital agriculture, Content Management Systems (CMS), Internet of Things (IoT), and Networking would be advantageous.

Project: New Extension Methodologies and Approaches (NEMA) 

• Master's Degree in Agricultural Extension from a recognized University, supplemented by a Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture from the same, either with a duration of 4 years or 5 years. 

• Proficiency in data compilation, analysis, and report writing, as well as familiarity with various computer applications such as Worksheets, Document editors, and presentation software. 

• Knowledge or experience in digital extension, digital agriculture, Content Management Systems (CMS), Internet of Things (IoT), Networking, online forms, online worksheets, digital surveys, ODK-based surveys, and content development for surveys and training.

National Innovations in Climate Resilient Agriculture (NICRA)

• Master's Degree from a recognized University in fields such as Agronomy/ Soil Science/ Horticulture/ Veterinary Science/ Agricultural Engineering or Agricultural Extension, along with a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University, either with a duration of 4 years or 5 years. 

• Proficiency in data compilation, analysis, and report writing, as well as familiarity with various computer applications such as Worksheets, Document editors, and presentation software."

Project: Cluster Frontline Demonstrations on Oilseeds

• Master's Degree obtained from a recognized University in disciplines such as Agricultural Extension/ Agricultural Economics/ Agricultural Statistics, or Allied Sciences, accompanied by a Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture from a recognized University, with either a 4-year or 5-year duration. 

• Additionally, desirable attributes include prior experience in data compilation, analysis, and report writing.

Age Limit: The upper age limit is 35 years for male candidates and 40 years for female candidates, with age relaxation applicable as per the guidelines set by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).

Tenure: The appointment is valid until either March 31, 2025, or the completion of the project, whichever comes first.

Monthly Remuneration

Rs.31,000 + HRA per month

Selection Procedure

The selection process will primarily consider the candidate's educational qualifications, relevant experience, and performance in the interview.
