Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following essential qualifications:

Post Graduate Degree in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or Basic Science; or Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in a Professional Course selected through one of the following processes:

Selection via National Eligibility Tests such as CSIR/UGC-NET or GATE

Selection process through National Level examinations conducted by central government departments and agencies/institutions like DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MFIRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.

Two years of research experience in the relevant field
Age Limit and Relaxation
The upper age limit is 35 years as of the date of advertisement. However, age limits are relaxable for up to 3 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Physically Challenged/Female categories as per Government of India norms. Preference will be given to candidates with evidence of experience in the relevant area.
The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The selected candidate shall have no right to claim regularization or absorption within ICAR/NBPGR.
