Required Education for SSB PGT Recruitment 2023
Candidates willing to apply for the SSB PGT recruitment 2023 must have the following education –
Master’s Degree in the concerned subject from a recognized University
Integrated six years Post Graduate Master’s course from Regional College of Education recognized by NCERT with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade.
A candidate must have acquired B.Ed. or equivalent Degree recognized by National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi as equivalent along with B. Ed. from a recognized University / Institution.
Note: B.Ed. qualification is the mandatory criterion for the post of PGT in Botany, Chemistry, Economics, English, Geology, Hindi, History, Mathematics, Odia, Physics, Political Science, Sanskrit and Zoology subjects.

SSB PGT Recruitment Application Fee
The State Selection Board, Odisha has asked the General category candidates to pay Rs. 500/- and Rs. 200/- for reserved category candidates.

SSB PGT Recruitment 2023: Age Criteria
The candidates’ age must be between 21 to 38 years to apply for the SSB PGT recruitment 2023 successfully.
Additionally, relaxation in age will be offered to eligible candidates as per the government norms.
Selection Process
Candidate’s selection will be purely based on a written test and career assessment. The written test holds 150 marks whereas the career assessment holds 50 marks.
