86th ExpoZebu Postponed due to Coronavirus Outbreak

The Brazilian Association of Zebu Breeders (ABCZ), organizer of ExpoZebu, an International Zebu Cattle Exhibition, sensitive to the current situation surrounding the coronavirus issue, with the emergency decree of the Government of Minas Gerais, Municipal Government of Uberaba and following the guidelines of Federal Government through the Ministry of Health has decided to postpone the 86th edition of the fair, which was scheduled to be held between 25th April and 3rd May 2020 in Uberaba.

The Brazilian Association of Zebu Breeders (ABCZ), organizer of ExpoZebu, an International Zebu Cattle Exhibition, sensitive to the current situation surrounding the coronavirus issue, with the emergency decree of the Government of Minas Gerais, Municipal Government of Uberaba and following the guidelines of Federal Government through the Ministry of Health has decided to postpone the 86th edition of the fair, which was scheduled to be held between 25th April and 3rd May 2020 in Uberaba.

The decision was communicated by ABCZ President, Rivaldo Machado Borges Junior to the Mayor of Uberaba, Paulo Piau.

ABCZ, Brazilian Association of Zebu Breeders is the biggest livestock organization in the world having more than 22,000 members & 100 years of operation.

Zebu breeds were born to be genetically improved in Brazil & they are now ready to meet all the demands of livestock all across the world. Bovine herd of Brazil has already passed 210 million head & more than 80 percent of this volume is made up of animals with zebu genetics. Brazilian zebu is efficient to grazing or in confinement & thus indicated to the most diverse management models.
