The scheme is currently getting 6.8 percent interest annually. Under this scheme, you can also get tax rebate of Rs 1.5 lakh annually under Section 80C of Income Tax. 

21 lakhs to be matured in 5 years 

For example, if you invest Rs 15 lakh in the beginning then you will get an amount of Rs 20.85 lakh after 5 years at the interest rate of 6.8. Your investment in this will be 15 lakhs, but there will be a benefit of about 6 lakh rupees in the form of interest. If you want, you can extend it even further.
