CII J&K Apple Conclave 2018 aims at enhancing Apple Growers Income by 2022

Jammu and Kashmir is the leading apple producer accounting for 64 percent of the total production in the country. Also, there is a potential to enhance the productivity of Apple from 10 MT to at- least 45 MT per hectare with the high-density farming system. With this context, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) J&K is organizing “Apple Conference 2018 with the theme of “Enhancing Productivity & Improving Quality & Increasing Apple Growers Income by 2022”. With the view to promote the horticultural produce, the Government of J&K is participating in   the conclave and making an effort to shift the potential sector at Global Level. 


CII Apple Conference and Mega Buyer Seller Meet 2018 will be held at the Silver Oak, IHC, New Delhi on 26 October 2018.

Mr. Khurshid Ahmad Ganai, Hon’ble Advisor to Governor will be the Chief Guest at the meeting, while Mr. Manzoor Ahmad Lone, Secretary Horticulture will be the Guest of Honour .  Mr. Syed Altaf Bukhari as the main speaker will discuss about the potential growth and development in the Horticulture sector.  Interested stakeholders are requested to take benefit from this opportunity and choose any sample produce during the Buyer-Seller Meet Exhibiting Best Quality Apples from Jammu and Kashmir. 

A large number of progressive Growers and Apple Traders from different regions will be present in the event, exhibiting different varieties of Apples. Members from Apple processing Industry, Food processing Units and Cold Chain stores will also be present at the vital platform for global food buyers to source, network as well as connect with  a large and diversified choice at Mega Buyer seller meet.
