Delhi University is finally starting the admissions to Under-graduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG), M.Phil and Ph.D programmes today, 30th May, 2019. All the eligible students are informed that the registration process of all the programmes or courses will be done totally online for all the categories and quotas.
It must be noted that the registration process for the postgraduate (PG) programmes, postgraduate Diploma in Cyber Security & Law and for M.Phil or PhD programmes will officially start from 3rd June, 2019.
This year there are no specific changes in the admission process however the varsity is considering to give full scholarships to candidates whose parents are no more or unemployed & half fee waiver to those candidates whose earning member is departed in order to cover their university or college fee.

Other Important things to keep in mind

The DU registration process of all the courses or programmes will be completely online for all categories and quota.

Open day sessions will be conducted by the Dean Students' Welfare Office. Students who are seeking admission in UG courses, their parents can participate in the Open Day program that will help them understand the admission process of DU affiliated colleges.

Students can ask for assistance from the help desk at Room No 5, conference centre, North Campus from 10am to 5pm.

During the admission process, the DU colleges will organise their counselling sessions & set up help desks in their premises.
Delhi University has been facing a lot of criticism for the delay in the commencement of the 2019-20 admission process. In 2018, the university has started the admission process from 15th May but this year there was a lot of uncertainty regarding the beginning of the DU admission process. In a press release issued yesterday (29th May 2019), the varsity finally cleared the speculation regarding the date of commencement of Admissions.
