Colleges affiliated to the Delhi University (DU) have published their first cut-off list for different undergraduate courses on their respective websites. The college-wise cut off list is available on the official website of DU, du.ac.in. As per reports, the admission process to the courses for the academic session 2019-20 has started and eligible students who are willing to get admissions in the top colleges under the varsity must fulfill the cut off criteria.
Read the Highest Cutoff 2019:
It is to be noted that, this year, the highest cut off at 99 per cent is for admission to Political Science at Hindu College, which is followed by admission to Psychology at 99 per cent in Jesus and Mary College. However, BA English course was the most preferred program at the varsity last year which had the highest cut-off at 98.75 per cent
Eligibility to get Admission in Top DU Colleges:
More than 90 per cent marks are required to get admissions to the popular programmes in top ranking colleges. The cut-off for BA (Hons) and B.Com (Hons) subjects remain above 95 per cent in many DU colleges. If the students are seeking admissions in the science stream, then they must score 97 per cent in the class 12th board in order to get admissions in the top colleges of the Delhi University.

DU Admissions Fee 2019:
Interested and eligible students, who are seeking admission into different colleges in DU, will be asked to pay their Admission Fee after the completion of the document verification process. Candidates will be asked to pay the fee by net banking, credit card or debit card in a certain time frame and a link to pay fees will be generated on the admission portal of the DU website. Once the required fee is paid, only then eligible students will be granted provisional admission to their desired colleges.

3) Birth certificate
4) Three recent passport size photographs
It must be noted that, if the candidate belongs to the SC/ ST/ OBC/ EWS/ CW/ KM category, he/ she should carry the caste certificate issued in his/ her name by the competent authority. Students looking for admission through sports quota must also carry their certificates.

Complete procedure (as described in Delhi University UG admission Information Bulletin) to take admission as per DU cut-off lists:
Method 1:
After the Delhi University list of cut-Off marks are declared, applicants are advised to log in to the admission portal (hosted at du.ac.in) to choose a college and course from the list of colleges and courses they are eligible for.
Method 2:
The applicant proceeds to the respective college for admission with a print out of the form from the admissions portal, and the important supporting original documents along with their photocopies, and 3 recent passport size photographs
Method 3:
The applicant then should present these documents in the college and produces their originals for verification, after that the Principal of the college approves the admission.
If all documents cannot be verified online, the college will give provisional admission, as per the Information Bulletin released by Delhi University.
Admitted provisional students will have to produce the originals of the required mandatory documents to the College within a week after the last day of UG Admissions for forensic verification. However, if they fail to do so, then the admission of the said provisional student may be cancelled by the College.
"All colleges shall admit all applicants who meet the announced cut-off criteria. There will not be any "first come first serve" policy," according to the Information Bulletin.
Late arrivals outside of the prescribed duration of each cut-off will not be entertained.
A candidate eligible in a previous cut-off list, will be allowed to take admissions only in the last hour of the third day of the admission based on an ongoing cut-off list subject to the availability of vacant seats, according to DU.
Method 4:
The applicant will receive a link on their online portal to pay the fee, which can only be paid online via the portal. The applicant is advised to pay the fee without delay within24 hrs after the approval of admission by the Head of Institution. They must save the acknowledgement slip bearing transaction ID, Credit Card/ Debit card/ Netbanking details and date of transaction as a proof for future reference.
After the successful payment of fees, the applicant is granted provisional admission to the said college.
