Farmer's Protest: This 22-Year-Old Student is Cycling from Kerala to Kashmir to Support Ongoing Farmer's Agitation

Farmer's agitation 2020-21 is one of the most important and unique protest in Indian history that brought lots of attention and many new interesting development. This agitation has entered into the second month where thousands of farmers, mostly from Punjab and Haryana have continued their fight against Central government to repeal recently passed farm laws.

Farmer's agitation 2020-21 is one of the most important and unique protest in Indian history that brought lots of attention and many new interesting development. This agitation has entered into the second month where thousands of farmers, mostly from Punjab and Haryana have continued their fight against Central government to repeal recently passed farm laws.

The agitation has been observed support from  country-wide fellow Indians and Indians who are living abroad, from celebrities, musicians, doctors, local governments and even ordinary people including school children for their cause.

Who is Jibin George?

22-year-old Jibin George from Shankhumukham in the Kerala capital has come to the limelight for his support to the ongoing farmer's protest. This student has started his journey from Thiruvananthapuram and cycling all the way to Jammu and Kashmir.

He is going to join the farmers’ protest at Delhi's borders and also focusing on spreading awareness on the farmers’ issue among the public throughout his journey.

He is a second-year student at Rajadhani Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Attingal.

"I noticed that people in the southern states were least bothered about these issues and many were ignorant. I decided to go on an all-India cycle expedition to create awareness about the protesting farmers and their concerns", said Jibin George.
