Farmers, Scientists & Industrialists Gather at Pantnagar Kisan Mela 2022
The agriculture fair is organized twice yearly at Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Uttarakhand. This year the 111th Krishi Mela was organized from March 24 to March 27 and the 112th All India Farmers' Fair and Agro-industrial Exhibition started on Monday, 17th October 2022.
The 112th Pantnagar Kisan Mela started from October 17th and will be going on till October 20th.
This Krishi Mela will provide a platform for farmers, farm scientists, Agribusiness & Agro-industrial firms for sharing their experiences and information about the latest agriculture technology.
At the fair, various products, such as tractors, combine harvesters, power tillers, planters, irrigation machines and other modern equipment, insecticides, pesticides, fertilizers, etc will be displayed. Firms sell their products and provide technical information to the farmers by setting up their stalls.
The 112th All India Farmers' Fair and Agro-industrial Exhibition is organized by Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar.
Various contests were organized during the Krishi Mela to promote the spirit of healthy competition among the growers and to increase the interest of participants as well as visitors.
