Bihar's mushroom producers have a fantastic opportunity to receive financial assistance. Under the Integrated Horticulture Mission Scheme, the government in this area provides farmers with up to a 50% subsidy on the production of mushrooms.

Many farmers in the nation are making considerable money from the growing of mushrooms. It doesn't need a lot of lands. Even in a closed room, farming can bring in thousands of dollars in profit. Numerous types of mushrooms are grown there, including shiitake, button, dhingari (oyster), milky, and padistra varieties. Bumper subsidy on mushroom cultivation 

Bihar's mushroom farmers are privy to a unique chance. Under the Integrated Horticulture Mission Scheme, farmers are provided up to a 50% subsidy on the production of mushrooms in this area. The cost per unit of producing mushrooms has been maintained by the government at Rs. 20 lakhs. The farmers would be paid a grant of Rs. 10 lakhs after receiving a 50% subsidy.

Earn well by processing mushrooms

Even with the processing of mushrooms, farmers are making significant earnings. Kisan mushrooms can be used to make foods such as papad, powder, cookies, badiyas, mushroom chips, and pickles, biscuits, and beverages. Additionally, selling it on the market has gotten simpler.

The price of the mushroom, which is now sold for Rs. 700 per kg, increases to Rs. 8000 after processing. Farmers can easily make thousands of rupees in profit using this. Additionally, by working on mushroom processing, you can provide those in your neighborhood with a job.
