Here's How You Can Enroll and Update Aadhaar Card Without Any Proof

Aadhaar card is a 12-digit identification number, which is issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India or UIDAI on behalf of the government to residents of the country. Aadhaar card empowers the people of India that also includes farmers by giving them a unique identity & creating a digital platform to authenticate it. Do not be disappointed if you do not have any ID proof like Voter ID, Ration Card, to apply Aadhaar Card enrollment or update. Below we have described as to how you can make a new Aadhaar card or update it without any proof.

Now 'standard certificates' issued by authorized officials are also valid to update or make a new Aadhaar Card. According to Aadhaar Issuing Authority UIDAI, people who do not have any valid documents in their own name, can use the 'standard certificate' by UIDAI to update your name, address or date of birth in the Aadhaar card.

These documents must be issued by any of the following - Gazetted Officer / Head of Gramin Panchayat or Head /MP/MLA/ Municipal Councilor /Tehsildar/Head of a recognized Institution or Superintendent or Warden or Matron / head of recognized Shelter Home or Orphanage.

The authority in a tweet said that it accepts 32 documents as Identity Proof, 45 documents for address and 15 documents for date of birth for enrollment, changes or updation in Aadhaar card. In addition, 14 documents are valid as proof of relationship.

The UIDAI made it very clear that while going for Aadhaar Enrollment or Update, you must take the original documents also. Photocopies will not be accepted. All the original certificates will be returned after scanning.
