Israel is hosting the 20th edition of Agritech Israel 2018, one of the world’s most important exhibitions in the field of agricultural technologies, innovations and food processing. Krishi Jagran is the Media Partner and the special Israel issue of the Agriculture World was produced by the Krishi Jagran. The inauguration ceremony was on 8th May 2018. Krishi Jagran Editor-in-Chief Shri M C Dominic is also in the event along with other Indian delegation.
Visitors are witnessing far-reaching changes in the agriculture industry - due to the influences of nature like that of climatic conditions and amount of natural resources available and or economic influences in the form of developing world's needs. All these conditions will continue to exert their influence not only on crop production, but also on the increasingly valuable harvest. This urges us to invest in the post-harvest systems which are quite diverse, depending on place, crops or products and the different stages of activity involved. In Agritech 2018 - we wish to create in our own humble way a platform to present some of the post harvest methods and processes.
Celebrating its 20th successful conference and exhibition on agricultural technologies and innovations, Agritech Israel 2018 is going on from May 8 to 10, 2018 in Tel Aviv.
Agritech Israel is one of the world’s most important exhibitions in the field of agricultural technologies.
With the theme “Agriculture in arid and semi-arid regions,” this year’s conference is focusing on the challenges and solutions these regions face globally.
Agritech Israel 2018 will also highlight the efforts and achievements of policy makers, scientists, industries, organizations, farmers, project companies and bankers, to overcome desert barriers and agricultural limits, as well as expand food sources.
Israel is set to become a major player in supplying the world with cutting-edge agriculture solutions. Among Israel’s biggest achievements in agriculture are the utilization of its desert areas as greenhouses, and the revolutionized irrigation methods.
Further, Israel has the world’s highest reused wastewater rate and the most advanced agriculture technologies for water heating and electricity generation.
