Several prominent personalities were present at the conference. Speaking at the conference, B.R. Kamboj, Vice Chancellor, Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agriculture University congratulated Krishi Jagran for organizing a successful conference on Millets and said, “ I congratulate Krishi Jagran on the success of this conference on the behalf of HAU. We are focusing on the value addition of millets at HAU in the spirit of Year of the Millets 2023. No doubt, millet is the best crop when it comes to climate resilience and nutritional benefits. Our research centers are working on ways to extend the shelf life of millets."

Krishi Jagran today hosted a conference celebrating the international year of millets, at their headquarters in Delhi. Some of the most prestigious delegates in the agriculture industry, from NITI Aayog and AARDO to FMC and NAFED, attended the meeting. IYoM 2023 and its participants have effectively promoted the conversation on millets as one of the first events to kick off the year of the millets.
