New information has come to light on how the two Muslim men who killed Udaipur tailor Kanhaiya Lal due to a statement he made about the Prophet Muhammad were caught as they fled the city on a motorcycle.

At great personal danger, two rajasthan farmers named Prahlad Singh and Shakti Singh chased the two murderers, Gos Mohammad and Riyaz Akhtari, for 35 kilometers until the Rajasthan Police caught up with them, overpowered, and took them into custody.

Prahlad Singh told the media that the police had informed him that the two murderers intended to escape. The farmer then kept a close check on his village because the route leading out of town ran past it, just in case the murders got there.

The two murderers were riding a bike at full speed as Prahlad Singh and his farmer friend Shakti Singh were enjoying tea along a highway.

“We witnessed them leaving this village,” Singh added.

The two farmers immediately gunned their motorcycle's engine and followed the murderers.

The farmers said that during the chase, they once approached within 100 meters of the murderers, who swung a huge knife in their direction. After that, according to Prahlad Singh, they kept their distance since he wasn't sure if the two terrorists were carrying pistols or perhaps an AK-47 assault weapon.

All the while the two farmers kept in touch with the police and kept on giving updates about where the two killers were headed. This helped the police in planning an intercept strategy.

The two farmers have received praise from Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot for their bravery.

The state administration has been urged by several social organizations to give farmers financial incentives and employment opportunities.
