NITI Aayog Internship 2022: Big Opportunity for Students; Apply Before 10th June

The interns would have the opportunity to learn about the working of the Indian government and developmental policy concerns, as well as contribute to policy formulation by producing policy inputs such as empirical analyses, briefing reports, policy papers, and so on.

The updated NITI Internship Scheme has been announced. This scheme aims to recruit interns from students pursuing Undergraduate, Graduate, or Postgraduate degrees or who are Research Scholars enrolled in a recognized university or institution in India or overseas. 

Niti Aayog Internship

These interns will be exposed to various NITI Aayog Verticals, Divisions, and Units, and will be expected to augment the analysis process within NITI Aayog through empirical gathering and collation of in-house and other data. Exposure to the workings of the Indian government may be beneficial to the Interns in terms of promoting their future goals.

Duration of the Internship

The duration of the internship is 6 (Six) months but does not exceed 6 (Six) months. Interns not completing the requisite period will not be issued any certificate.

Eligibility Criteria

Students from any recognized university or institution in India or overseas who meet the following criteria are eligible to apply.

  • Undergraduate students who have completed/appeared by the conclusion of the term Second-year exams, fourth-semester of a bachelor's degree program, and

  • In 12th grade, you must have received at least 85% or equivalent marks.

  • Graduate students who have finished/appeared in term end exams of their postgraduate program's first year/2nd semester or pursuing research/Ph.D. and obtaining not less than 70% or comparable qualification grades at the end of high school.

  • Students who have taken or are about to take the final test Graduation/Post-Graduation and the wait for admission to a university can also apply.

  • They will be considered for an internship if they have a cumulative grade point average of 7 or above.

 How to Apply?

  • The interested applicants may apply online only on the official website of NITI Aayog by the 10th of June, 2022.

  • Applicants must also clearly indicate the area of interest.

  • The selected applicant has to produce original mark sheets and NOC from the college/institution at the time of joining, failing which his/her candidature shall be canceled. (Format given in Annexure ‘C’ of the official notification).

Please Note: A candidate can apply for an internship only once during a financial year.
