Although mornings are usually beautiful at the Delhi office of Krishi Jagran, the morning of March 8, 2021, was extra ordinarily beautiful. One by one, as the women employees entered the office they were awed by the enchanting décor of the office.
What was more enchanting was the group of “ladies in red.” This was the theme for celebrating Women’s Day 2021.
Guess what the equally enchanting feature of the office was on this special day?
All the gentlemen of the office were dressed smartly in black suits with white shirts.
Major attractions of Women’s Day 2021 celebration at Krishi Jagran office
All the gentlemen of Krishi Jagran, dressed up in suits, walked the ramp, with the ladies in red clapping heartily. This was the show stopper of the celebration.
As the ladies sat back and relaxed in chairs, each gentleman came forward and spoke a few lines regarding the women in their personal and professional lives.
It was a moment to reckon as each gentleman spoke. It showcased the changing views of men towards women. From their words and their tone, it was easy to decipher that the modern man is ready to extend support to the modern woman. They are appreciative towards the rising women of today, although a lot is yet to change.
But it will surely change, as this was the vibes that floated in the air during the Women’s Day 2021 celebration in Krishi Jagran.
Krishi Jagran Editor-In-Chief M.C. Dominic and his wife Shiny Dominic, who is the Director of Krishi Jagran, were looking fantastic professionally and as a couple. Dominic sir wore a dark suit that made him look dashing, while Shiny ma’am was dressed in a neat peach sari that made her look more youthful and stunningly beautiful.
Dominic sir narrated the story of Sindhu Tai, called the “Mother of Orphans,” who has bagged the Padma Shree Award 2021. She is an Indian social worker and activist and an inspiration for women.
Thereafter, the event progressed with each lady in red receiving a gift from Shiny ma’am. The senior members of KJ team – Megha Sharma (GM Business Development), Abha Toppo (Editor of English Portal of KJ), and Manisha Sharma (Senior Correspondent of KJ) presented a gift to Shiny ma’am.
As the photos kept clicking and the celebration took full swing, everybody started feeling hungry. Well, the KJ team had a hearty breakfast together. It started with a cake cutting ceremony, followed by yummy idlis and chutney with sambhar.
Truly, Krishi Jagran knows how to make their women employees feel special. Hats off to all the KJ gentlemen who took such keen interest in Women’s Day 2021 celebrations. Kudos to all the KJ ladies who Choose to Challenge the stereotypes in personal and professional lives.
