Somani Seedz, a pioneer in providing quality seeds, organized a farmer awareness program on March 18, 2024, in Dariyapur village, Bulandshahr district, Uttar Pradesh. The aim of organizing this event was to introduce a new variety of red carrots, Azuba 117. “Moreover, in terms of storage capacity, farmers can store this new variety of carrots for 120 to 140 days. Unlike other varieties, this type of carrot is red in color and cylindrical in shape, which means it is uniform from top to bottom. Another significant feature of this variety is that 98% of it is edible, resulting in minimal wastage,” he added.

During the program, M.C. Dominic, Founder & Editor-in-Chief & CEO, Krishi Jagran, addressed progressive farmers present at the event. He said, "Every farmer aspires to become a millionaire farmer. However, this is only possible when crop yields increase and costs decrease. I come from a farming family myself. When I was young, I also dreamt of becoming a millionaire farmer. This was not an impossible dream. Today, many farmers in our country are millionaire farmers. Recently, we organized a three-day event, 'Millionaire Farmer of India Award-2023', at Pusa, New Delhi. Thousands of farmers from all districts of the country participated in this event. All the farmers honoured at the event were millionaire farmers."

He further added, "Following the immense success of the MFOI Awards-2023, we are now organizing the MFOI Awards-2024 from December 1st to December 5th, 2024. If you are a millionaire farmer, you can participate in this event. The registration process has already begun. You can visit the MFOI website to register."

This initiative by Somani Seedz aims to empower farmers with knowledge about advanced agricultural practices and innovative crop varieties, thereby contributing to the prosperity of the farming community in Uttar Pradesh.
