Applications can be submitted online at https://admissionsatpgschool.tnau.ac.in/ until May 15, according to Vice-Chancellor V. Geethalakshmi. Agriculture, Horticulture, Agricultural Engineering, Forestry, and Community Science are the focus of all PG and Ph.D. studies.

The Vice-Chancellor announced that a new M.Sc. Post Harvest Technology programme will be provided through a constituent college in Periyakulam beginning in the coming academic year.

Students who have already completed their under-graduation in Agriculture and allied courses are eligible to apply for Masters programmes, while those who have completed M.Sc. in Agriculture or Horticulture and M.Tech in Agricultural Engineering are eligible to apply for doctoral programmes by uploading their Provisional Degree Certificate.

Students in their final year may upload prior semester marksheets supplied by their respective authorities. Prof. Geethalakshmi stated that provisional admission will be verified only after the submission of the Provisional Degree Certificate, following the release of the Post Graduate Information Brochure (2023-24) containing information on eligibility and other facts.

Clarifications regarding the admission procedure will be handled by email: pgadmission@tnau.ac.in. In its 53rd year, TNAU has the unique distinction of awarding monthly research scholarships of Rs 10,000 and Rs 20,000 to PG and Ph.D. students, respectively. Last year, the institution accepted 500 students into PG degrees and 250 into Ph.D. programmes.

The All India quota is filled by ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute with 30% of the admitted students. Students conduct research in universities in the United Kingdom, Australia, Israel, and a few other countries.

According to the Vice-Chancellor, the TNAU also assists students in obtaining scholarships from government and commercial organizations.
