  • IMD Predicts Heavy Rains Due To Cyclonic Circulation

    The India Meteorological Department said that the cyclonic circulation over the north Andaman Sea & neighborhood extending up to 3.1 km above the mean sea level persists. According to the latest weather report, under the influence of cyclonic circulation, a low-pressure area is likely to form over the East-central Bay of Bengal & the adjoining north Andaman sea around the 13th of October. It is likely to move to the west northwestwards & reach south Odisha north Andhra Pradesh coasts as the well-marked low-pressure area around 15th October.

  • Government Focuses on Increasing Farmers Income

    Under a special program by the Union Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, 8,20,600 seed mini-kits will be distributed free of cost in around 343 identified districts of 15 major producing states of the country. This program will increase production & productivity by increasing the seed replacement rate, which will help in increasing the income of the farmers.

  • Centre Warns States Against Selling Power

    Amid the ongoing coal shortage crisis in the country, the Ministry of Power warned the states that federal power producers will curtail the supplies of electricity to them if their utilities are found selling the power on exchanges to take the advantage of surging prices.

  • India Retails Inflation Drops To 5 Month Low of 4.35%

    According to the data released by the government on 12th October (Tuesday), The retail inflation of India fell to a five-month low of 4.35% in the month of September from 5.3% in August, mainly on an account of softening food prices.
