  • IMD Predicts Heavy Rains In These States

    On 14th October (Thursday) the India Meteorological Department have predicted heavy rains in several northern & southern states because of the formation of a low-pressure area over the east-central Bay of Bengal & its neighborhood under the influence of cyclonic circulation. According to IMD, there will be heavy rains accompanied by thunderstorms would occur over the Andaman & Nicobar Islands during the next 4 days.

  • Another Hike in Petrol & Diesel

    On 14th October (Thursday), According to the Price Notification of State-Owned Fuel Retailers, the price of petrol & diesel faced another hike across the metros. In the National Capital, the price of petrol costs Rs 104.79 in up from Rs 104.44 per liter and the price of Diesel is being retailed at Rs 92.52 per liter.

  • Shortage of Coal Due to Extreme Rainfall

    On 14th October (Thursday) The center said that there was a shortage of coal due to the rain as the import was ceased but it is making efforts to fulfill the demand for thermal plants. The minister visited the Ashoka OCP of Central Coalfields Limited in Chatra District of Jharkhand. “With a peak-rated capacity of 20 MTPA, it is one of the larger coal projects in CCL. Interacted with the on-ground team and motivated them to increase production and off-take from the mine, said the Union Minister Pralhad Joshi.
