  • IMD Predicts Heavy Rains till Monday

    On 25th November (Thursday), the India Meteorological Department said that heavy to extreme rainfall is expected to lash parts of Southern India till Monday. Meanwhile, earlier this week, the weather department issued an Orange Alert in Tamil Nadu for 25th & 26th November predicting the extremely heavy rainfall. For the last 2 weeks, the southern states have been witnessing the incessant rain & it is likely to continue for the next couple of days. IMD also said that a low-pressure area is likely to form over the south Andaman Sea around 29th November 2021. It is likely to become more marked & move towards west-northwestwards during the subsequent 48 hours.

  • Delhi’s Air Quality Dipped to AQI 330 On November 25

    Delhi’s air quality is slipped back to a very poor category on 25th November (Thursday) after showing a significant improvement the day before. According to the system of Air Quality & Weather Forecasting and Research, the overall Air Quality Index in the National Capital dipped to 330 today on 25th November (Thursday).

  • 2.5 Tonnes of “Vazhakulam” Pineapples Sent To Delhi By Rail

    The All Kerala Pineapple Farmers’ Association, which is one of the largest in the country has set a consignment of pineapples to the national capital by rail for the first time under the Kisan Rail Scheme. The farmers on 24th November (Wednesday) sent a parcel consignment of 2.5 tonnes of “Vazhakulam” pineapple by Delhi bound Nizamuddin Express from Ernakulam South Railway Station.
