The CM further confirmed that the first cabinet meeting will be held on November 22, 2020 and will start at 12 afternoon on Gopashtami at Gau Sanctuary, Agar Malwa.

A year ago, the Congress-driven Madhya Pradesh assembly had rolled out the anti-cow slaughter amendment Act 2019 to guarantee a prison term of half-a-year to three years and a fine of rupees 25,000 to 50,000 for those sentenced for carrying out violence for the sake of cows.
