According to Kakani Govardhan Reddy, Minister for Agriculture, Marketing, and Food Processing (Andhra Pradesh), the e-farm market set up for online selling is a useful platform for farmers to earn a minimum support price for their produce.

Reddy while inaugurating a workshop for Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), aggregators, agri-producers, buyers, and bankers by the Andhra Pradesh Farmers e-Vikraya Corporation Limited (APFEVCL) said, the government is working to give farmers the optimum price. He added that the State's priorities include delivering high-quality seeds and pesticides via the Rythu Bharosa Kendras, bank loans, tools at discounted prices, and e-farm platform.

He said that the e-farm platform directly connects producers and purchasers. Farmers received the greatest price for the Rs 17.06 crore worth of produce that has been sold so far on the e-farm platform.
