India is the largest producer as well as consumer of milk in the world. Dairy Industry accounts for approximately 4% of the country’s GDP. Dairy farming business is one of the most profitable businesses in India, which employs a large population.
To promote it, cattle fairs are also organized in many states of the country, in which big dairy farmers exhibit their animals. Such a fair is being organized in Haryana India from 21st to 23rd Feb. The 3rd DFA - All India and International Dairy and Agri Expo 2022 Haryana is being organized in Kurukshetra. Krishi Jagran, which is the largest media company in the agriculture sector, has reached this fair and will provide interesting insights from this event.

This fair has started yesterday i.e. 21st February 2022. One of the major highlights so far has been the ‘milking machine’, which can extract the milk of around 5 cows at a time. Many major cow breeds have been introduced in this fair, including indigenous Sahiwal & Gir cows.
