World Rose Day 2022: Rose is called the flower of love and sometimes it is said to enhance the beauty of the house. World Rose Day is celebrated every year on 22 September, one reason for celebrating this day is to show a ray of hope to the patients suffering from cancer.

At the same time, planting roses in the house is good for positivity. You can also grow roses as a hobby or to make someone feel positive who is going through a disease for a long time.

The rose flower is considered a symbol of sensitivity, love, and anxiety. In such a situation, this day is celebrated all over the world as World Rose Day to express love, anxiety, and sensitivity towards cancer patients.

History of World Rose Day:

World Rose Day is celebrated in memory of 12-year-old child cancer survivor Melinda Rose. Melinda was from Canada and was diagnosed with blood cancer in the year 1994.

Melinda was in the last stage of cancer and the doctors, while answering, had even said that this girl (Melinda Rose) would not live for more than a week or two.

But Melinda proved the doctors wrong with her strong will and she lived her life diligently for 6 months, not a week or two. Melinda touched and influenced the lives of many patients during this period by writing poems, emails, and letters to other patients.

This 12-year-old girl became an example for cancer patients across the world and then in September, Melinda said goodbye to the world. Since then, this day is celebrated every year to encourage cancer victims.

World Rose Day Celebration:

On the day of World Rose Day, people give roses to cancer victims and appeal to them to have hope for life and fight this terrible disease. On this day, by giving roses to cancer patients, an attempt is made to give the message that cancer is not the end of life, but the beginning.

On this day, relatives of cancer victims, their family members, and relatives or friends should go to hospitals and share their problems with them so that they are encouraged.
