The Global Food and Environment Institute (GFEI) is delighted to invite you to join our April 2022 webinar ‘How to make agriculture and food systems resilient to climate change: Lessons from AFRICAP’.
AFRICAP- Leeds’ largest GCRF (Global Challenges Research Fund) programme aimed at creating climate-smart agriculture and food systems- is coming to an end in March. Since October 2017, the team has produced evidence on what makes these systems resilient to climate change and worked hard to communicate such evidence to policy- and decision-makers.
While our work focused on Malawi, South Africa, Tanzania and Zambia, the findings are applicable to the Southern African region as a whole. In this webinar, we present key findings from this work that will be beneficial to a range of agri-food stakeholders and recommend potential areas of future research resulting from our experiences.
The seminar will be chaired by Professor Ian Wood, Pro Dean International, Faculty of Biological Sciences, University of Leeds.
