We all want to look beautiful!! But, how when we have so many acne or pimples on our face? Acne indeed is a big problem but the good thing is that it can be easily cured at home without any medical help. By eating the right healthy food you can easily get rid of the acnes. Here we have five healthy food items that helps in curing acne:

1. Carrots

If we want to get rid of acne solely through eating the food on our plate, then the best item can be a Carrot. This vegetable has many health benefits. Carrots are perhaps the single best way to pour your skin with antioxidants and vitamins. They are full of acne nutrition and have almost no side effects when eaten. Carrots help in decreasing our skin’s oil production, which usually causes pimple. They protect the skin from ultra-violet rays and give a natural skin tone. There are strong evidences that carrots can even prevent from ageing.

2. Apricot

Apricots are very rich in vitamin A, B, and vitamin C. Vitamin A is very good for our skin, especially if we have acne problem. It contains good amount of fiber that cleans our skin from unwanted waste elements. The apricot juice has a natural acid that may go through the cysts caused by acne, removing the bacteria that can lead to inflammation and scars. And this is why apricot juice is a proven home remedy for acne.    By applying a little apricot juice on the affected area, we can easily get rid of pimples and blackheads.

3. Strawberries

Strawberries!!! We all love strawberries. Fresh strawberries and the strawberry leaves’ contain salicylic acid. And this acid is one of the top active ingredients in any acne treatment because it works to dispose of dead skin cells that block the pores, reduces the size of pores giving a fresh and radiant look. Strawberries also contain antioxidants, vitamins and nutrients that help in repairing damages to the skin, including acne scars. The strawberry leaves contain properties that are very good for use as an anti-inflammatory for acne and other skin problems.

4. Lemon

Freshly squeezed lemon juice is very refreshing to drink and so is its benefit to our body and skin. It is considered an effective skin care ingredient since long. People use the acidic powers of lemon juice for making facemasks or ‘uptan’ at home. In addition, the citric acid found in lemon juice is water-soluble, which prevents it from penetrating deep under the skin where acne exists.

5. Spinach

Green foods like spinach are rich in chlorophyll which helps in cleansing the bacteria and toxins from the blood stream and digestive tract. Spinach is quite rich in Vitamin A, which naturally acts as an anti-acne agent. Apart from spinach there are many other leafy vegetables that help in reducing acne and scars.

There are indeed many more healthy food items that help in preventing and curing acne problems. But the above mentioned 5 items are widely used by people all around the globe.
