If yes then most probably you are suffering from vitamin D deficiency. If you have been imprisoned at home for a long time because of the fear of corona, then it may be possible that are going through vitamin D deficiency. You must know this fact that Vitamin D is the only nutrient which your body produces when exposed to sunlight. It is essential for the strengthening of the immune system. Vitamin D deficiency makes the immunity weak and increases the risk of getting an infection. 

Therefore, it becomes important to include those things in your diet which can give you enough vitamin D to makes your immune system strong and healthy. You can take Vitamin D directly from the rays of the sun. Along with this, you can get rid of vitamin D deficiency by including vitamin D rich foods in your diet. 

So below we are listing some vitamin D rich foods which can be added in the diet to get rid of Vitamin D deficiency; 

Cow's milk 

Cow's milk is a great source of vitamin D and calcium. You try to drink full-fat milk. Drinking milk once a day will make up for the deficiency of Vitamin D.

Add curd in your daily diet to get rid of vitamin D deficiency in summer. Protein and vitamin D-rich curd will provide your body vitamin D. But remember to eat only fresh homemade curd. Avoid stored curd packets. 

Cheese 

Another yummy dairy item, cheese is also an incredible source of nutrient D. But ensure to choose the right kind of cheese. Cottage cheese, Feta, Ricotta are some of the healthy cheeses you can add to your eating routine. 

Orange 

Orange juice contains a good amount of vitamin D and vitamin C. Oranges are full of various health beneficial properties. Including a glass of fresh orange juice at breakfast is the best drink to start your day. 

Oatmeal ( Daliya) 

Like most of the whole grains, oatmeal is also a good source of vitamin D. Moreover, oats are rich in essential minerals and vitamins and complex carbs. Try to eat Daliya daily at breakfast. 

Fatty Fish 

If you are struggling with vitamin D deficiency then you should include fatty fish in your diet, like mackerel, tuna, and salmon. They are rich in vitamin D. At the same time, they contain calcium, protein, and phosphorus which gives many more benefits to your health. 

Mushrooms 

If anyone does not like fish, or if he or she is vegetarian, some mushrooms can be an option. Some specific types of mushrooms contain high amounts of vitamin D, like; Dried shiitake mushrooms and Rawmaitake mushrooms.  

Egg Yolks 

Egg yolk is another rich source of vitamin D. Egg yolk contains extra calories and fat. But it contains all the essential nutrients including protein and good carbs. Try to eat an egg a day.
