"There is an urgent need to undertake more research and development initiatives in agriculture, and the collaboration with an institution like MHU will assist us in promoting research activities in agriculture and related activities," Tomar said.

"There is a great need for collaboration between academic research institutions and reputable companies eager to promote research and development activities in various areas including agriculture and allied activities," Singh said, exuding confidence that the collaboration will encourage more students to pursue research.

According to the company, the university will conduct demonstration/adaptive trials of Dhanuka Agritech's new molecules/products at its farms as well as farmer's fields and will consider incorporating the findings (active ingredient only) into practices.
