Hero Electric has recently announced the new prices for its electric scooters. Hero Electric has implemented price cuts in the range of 12 to 33 percent on its electric scooters with the maximum benefits being offered on the Nyx HX triple battery scooter.

Sohinder Gill, CEO, Hero Electric said, “The revision in subsidies on batteries and EVs overall under the FAME policy is just the move the industry needed to drive adoption of electric vehicles.”

Tata Motors to introduce 10 electric vehicles by 2025

Tata Motors will now be bringing 10 new battery-electric vehicles by 2025 for the standalone entity. N Chandrasekaran, chairman of Tata Motors said, "By 2025, Tata Motors will have 10 new BEV vehicles and as a Group, we will invest proactively to set up charging infrastructure across the country. In addition, the Tata Group is actively exploring partnerships in cell and battery manufacturing in India and Europe to secure our supplies of batteries."

Union Cabinet approves extension of applicability of New Investment Policy

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs chaired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, has given its approval for the proposal of the Department of Fertilizers for extension of applicability of New Investment Policy (NIP)-2012 read with its amendment dated 7thOct 2014 for the Ramagundam Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited (RFCL).

Agronature is promoting organic rice planting through Pokkali farming

The farming system is especially prominent in the backwaters of Alappuzha, Ernakulam and Thrissur. To restore the past glory of Pokkali farming, organic cultivation of rice is being combined with aquaculture followed in the coastal areas of Kerala. Agronature, a Kochi-based private company working for the farmers' economic upliftment, has drawn up a plan to promote and sustain this unique traditional farming practice.

China steps up rice purchases from India

As China steps up rice purchases from India, more mills are keen to export the cereal to the neighbouring country. China, in 2018, had allowed only 24 Indian rice mills to ship the cereal after certifying their plants and processing facility.
