Ninjacart, an Indian agritech platform, has announced a $25 million agro seed fund to promote developing and new-age agriculture entrepreneurs. Ninjacart has stated that it will make seed investments in companies, entrepreneurs, and digital innovators who propose unique and sustainable solutions in order to stimulate tech innovation in the field.

The fund will also be used to invest in teams with strong technical skills but no solution or idea. This funding infusion is intended to spur the development of innovative agricultural solutions around the world.

"As a firm, it has always been our desire to develop the global agriculture ecosystem, and we are excited to empower tomorrow's leaders," stated Thirukumaran Nagarajan, Co-founder and CEO of Ninjacart.

“It is our goal to help the next generation of entrepreneurs and small businesses thrive together, creating a future that is both sustainable and founded on a solid foundation of productive collaboration,"he added.

Ninjacart also stated that it intends to invest in cutting-edge technologies for its own operations.
