Qualifications and Experience
Research Associate (Post 1):
-
Ph.D. in fields such as Plant Molecular Biology & Biotechnology, Agricultural Biotechnology, Plant Physiology, Genetics and Plant Breeding, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or Botany.

M.Sc. (Ag.) degree in Plant Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Agricultural Biotechnology, Plant Physiology, Biochemistry, Genetics and Plant Breeding, or Microbiology. They must also hold a Bachelor’s Degree with a first division or 60% marks, along with three years of research experience and at least one research paper in a recognized journal.

Alternatively, candidates with a Master's degree in Basic Sciences such as Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Botany, Genetics, Life Sciences, or Microbiology are eligible if they have NET/GATE qualifications and two years of research experience.

Men up to 40 years and women up to 45 years. Age relaxation is available for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates as per government norms.
Junior Research Fellow (Post 3):

M.Sc. degree in Agriculture with specializations in Plant Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Agricultural Biotechnology, Plant Physiology, Biochemistry, Genetics and Plant Breeding, or Microbiology.

Alternatively, candidates with a Master's degree in Basic Sciences such as Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Botany, Genetics, Life Sciences, or Microbiology are eligible if they have NET/GATE qualifications.

Experience in tissue culture, plant molecular biology, and bioinformatics is required.

The maximum age limit is 35 years for men and 40 years for women, with age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates as per norms.
Young Professional II (Post 2):

Candidates should have a degree in Agricultural Biotechnology, Molecular Biology & Biotechnology, Plant Biotechnology, Biological Science, Microbiology, Life Science, or Bioinformatics.

Alternatively, candidates with a graduate degree in Agriculture, B.Tech in Biotechnology, or Bioinformatics are eligible."

Experience in tissue culture, genome editing, plant molecular biology, bioinformatics, etc., is required.

Monthly Remuneration
-
Research Associate: Rs. 49,000/- per month plus applicable HRA (for Master Degree holders) & Rs. 54,000/- per month + HRA* (for Ph. D).

Junior Research Fellow: Rs.31000/- plus HRA P.M for 1st. and 2nd. year and Rs.35000/- plus applicable HRA P.M for 3rd year onwards

Young Professional II: Rs.42000/- per Month
