Heranba receives consent to establish manufacturing plant

Heranba Industries announced that it has received the consent to establish manufacturing of pesticides, intermediates, fungicides, herbicides & insecticides from Gujarat Pollution Control Board. The company has received the necessary permission to expand its manufacturing facilities for the said products at its plot located in Saykha Industrial Estate, Bharuch.

 

Corteva  to establish an ecosystem of FPOs to promote agri-entrepreneurship

Corteva Agriscience, the global agriculture company, is working towards establishing an ecosystem of Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) in multiple states across India, including Madhya Pradesh and Bihar. The company is focused on promoting agri-entrepreneurship, especially for women, by supporting seven FPOs in the districts of MP. This includes training on agricultural methods, providing access to multi-brand agri-inputs, crop advisory to create market linkages, and an end-to-end value chain.

Kashmir farmers join campaign by HIL and CNRI

The burning problem of modern agriculture is the excessive use of pesticides. It not only impacts crop yield, but also can harm human health when they consume this crop. In the wake of this situation, Hindustan Insecticides Limited (HIL)  and the Corporation for National Research Initiatives (CNRI) have come together to start a campaign spreading awareness and education regarding judicious use of pesticides.  Secretary General of CNRI, Vinod Anand said that, CNRI has decided that the Extension Directorate and HIL will join hands to empower farmers residing in the challenging areas of Kashmir. FPOs will be created for all crops.
