AYUSH Visa: A special Visa Category will be Available for Foreign Nationals

In the presence of WHO Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus and Mauritius Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth, the three-day Global AYUSH Investment and Innovation Summit were launched. Foreign nationals are eligible for a special AYUSH visa.

PM Narendra Modi announced at the Global AYUSH Investment and Innovation Summit in Gandhinagar on April 20, 2022, that India will introduce a special AYUSH visa category for foreign nationals who want to come to India to receive AYUSH therapy.

India is also planning to create a special AYUSH mark that will be applied to the highest quality AYUSH products made in India, according to the Prime Minister.

With the rising demand for traditional medicine among foreign nationals, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the creation of a special AYUSH visa category for foreign nationals who wish to visit India for AYUSH therapy. For high-quality AYUSH products, there is a special AYUSH seal.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that the central government will implement a special AYUSH hallmark that will be applied to the highest-quality AYUSH products manufactured in India.

He stated that the production of AYUSH medicines, supplements, and cosmetics is already booming in India and that the opportunities for investment and innovation in the field of AYUSH are limitless.

Expansion of the AYUSH e-marketplace to make it easier for farmers who grow medicinal plants to connect with the market.

The Prime Minister stated that it is critical that farmers who grow medicinal plants have the ability to connect with the market easily and that the government will work to modernize and expand the AYUSH e-marketplace in this regard. PM Modi announced that 14 start-ups have now joined the unicorn club, and he expressed confidence that more unicorns will emerge from the AYUSH ecosystem in the near future.
