The State Bank of India, country largest lender is inviting applications from candidates who have completed their PhD for Post Doctoral Research Fellowship. The selected candidates would be given Rs 1 lakh per month as stipend. In addition, the performance of the fellows would be assessed at the end of the fellowship programme & based on that they will get a lump sum of Rs 2 -5 lakh.
Online registration for this SBI fellowship programme will end on 8 October 2020.
SBI fellowship 2020: Important Details
A hard copy of the online application must reach the corporate centre in Mumbai by 15 October 2020. The age limit to apply for fellowship should not be above 40 years as on 31 July 2020. The applicants will be in a 2-year contract under the programme. It must be noted that there are only 5 vacancies for this programme. Selection of candidates will be done through shortlisting as well as personal interview. The call letter will be sent through email.
Qualification Details
Candidate must have a PhD in finance or banking or IT or economics or any related subject. They should also have a good academic record. Preference would be given to candidates who have contributed as an author or co-author in any paper or article in ‘A’ category journals. Applicants should have a minimum three years post qualification experience in teaching or research work in IIT, IIM, ISB, XLRI or Consultancy.

Next, your photo & signature will have to be scanned & uploaded.
You will also have to upload the copy of documents like Birth Certificate, Educational Qualification Certificate, Experience Certificate and ID Proof. Original documents must be carried at the time of interview.
A self attested copy of all the essential documents along with printout of application will have to be sent to SBI Mumbai Corporate Office.
