As India’s 75th Independence Day gets closer, the government took the initiative to sell the Tricolor at all head post offices to boost the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. The postal services started this campaign from August 1.
So, now you will be able to buy the Indian Flag for just Rs 9 from your nearest post office or by just applying online at epostoffice.gov.in.
Price and Size of the Indian Flag
The Indian flag measures 6 inches x 9 inches in size (without a flagpole). The Tricolor is being sold for Rs 9 each piece. There is no GST on the Indian flag.
How to buy flag online from post office?
Know the steps to buy an Indian flag from the post office:

Visit the website, www.epostoffice.gov.in.

Select the national flag of India by clicking on the image on the homepage.

A "click the image to purchase flag" link appears below the image.

Add your phone number, the delivery address, and the number of Flags you're ordering (up to 5 Flags per customer at first).

During the purchasing process, you will be prompted for the most recent flag code.

Once the procedure is complete, make the online payment to finish placing your order.
Orders cannot be canceled
Customers will not be allowed to cancel once an order is placed hence be very careful while purchasing anything.
Delivery of Indian flag
The delivery of the flag will be made free of cost by the nearest post office. Customers will not have to pay any extra charges for the delivery.
