IBPS RRB Result: As per latest reports, the Institute of Personnel Banking Selection will be releasing the result for the preliminary exam conducted for Officer (scale 1) post in Regional Rural Banks (RRB) anytime now. IBPS has not yet confirmed the exact RRB result date, but it has said that the prelims result will be announced in August. As this is the last week of the month, the results will be declared before Friday.
Candidates who clear the IBPS RRB officer exam will have to appear in the main examination that is scheduled to be held on 22nd September. Besides this, Institute of Personnel Banking Selection would also conduct a single exam for Officer Scale 2 & Officer Scale 3 selection.
For Officer Scale 1 post, the marks secured in the preliminary exam will be used to select applicants for the main examination. But remember that these marks will not be considered for the final result.
In the main exam, applicants have to answer questions related to reasoning, general awareness, computer knowledge, English or Hindi language & quantitative aptitude. The main exam will be of total of 200 marks.
For every wrong answer, there will be negative marking. One fourth of the total mark given to that question will be deducted.

IBPS RRB preliminary exam for Officer Post was held on 3, 4 and 11 August 2019. The exam was conducted together with the prelims for Office Assistant post that ended concluded on 25 August 2019.
In this current recruitment process, IBPS will select candidates for these posts - Officer scale 1, Officer scale 2, Officer scale 3 & Office Assistant. There will be a single exam for Officer scale 2 & 3 posts and two separate exams for the other posts. Also there won’t be any interview for the Office Assistant post.
The provisional allotment for all the above mentioned posts will end in January 2020.
