Aadhar card has now become the most important document & a mandatory proof of identity, thus it is essential to carry this with you all the time. UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) does not allow Indians to obtain their Aadhar card through the official website even if they do not have a registered mobile number. The step had provided the much-needed relief.

The official website of UIDAI allows users to get Aadhar PVC cards without the need for a registered phone number.

Below are some of the simple steps that you would need to follow

  • Firstly you have to visit the official website of Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) & click on My Aadhar.

  • Select the “Order Aadhar PVC Card” from the menu & enter your 12 digit Aadhar Card number.

  • Now fill in the captcha code.

  • Select “My Mobile Phone Number is not registered” from those options.

  • Type in a different phone number & click the “send OTP button” this could be any mobile number where you want to get your OTP code.

  • After entering the OTP number, choose the “Terms & Conditions” checkbox & click on the “Submit” button.
  • A preview of the Aadhar letter is now available.

  • Finally, do not forget to cross-check the information & make your payment carefully online by selecting the “Make Payment” option.

You can use the 16 digit VID (Virtual Identification Number) rather than your 12 digit Aadhar Number, and if you don’t wish to provide your 12 digit Aadhar number.

Furthermore, there are some steps that will be visible only to the users with registered mobile numbers & will not be available to the users without the registered mobile numbers. Only registered mobile phones can watch the Aadhar previews. Non-registered mobile-based users do not get access to a preview of the Aadhar card information.
